According to “Dogs in English Porcelain of the 19th Century,” this group was made between 1840 and 1850. It features a setter licking her puppy’s head by their kennel in the form of a most charming, pink-roofed house, complete with door and arched window on a grass-covered base. An illustration of a very similar piece can be found on page 112 of the reference.
The condition is simply excellent.
It measures about 4-¼ inches wide, 4 inches high and 3 inches deep.
