This contemporary artist, Carolann Knapp, paints in the style of the Indian River School and the style of the Florida Highwaymen. She has a talent that is fast being recognized as a promising artist of this decade. Her prices have gone up quickly as her work is exhibited. She is a self-taught artist. Her work has been shown at the Cinco De Mayo exhibit at Artist Guild Gallery in Vero Beach, Florida, and for many years in the Annual Pelican Island Wildlife Exhibition in Indian River County. I consider her work offering a very real opportunity for appreciation. Her talent is amazing. This particular painting is something that she enjoyed doing. Certainly a bit different than most of her work, but very happy and colorful.
