Meissen Dot Period Hand Painted Puce Domestic Scenes Tea Cup & Saucer C.1763-1774

Nice antique German 18th century porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted domestic scenes in puce. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark a dot. This mark was used by the Meissen factory between 1763 to 1774.

Has some wear to the gilding, and the cup has a small chip to the lip, but otherwise good condition.

The cup measures approximately 4 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide.
