A very lovely hand-painted coffee can and saucer in a dark blue and gilt leaf pattern in every good condition
The cup is 2.5 inches (6.5 cms) high and 2.5 inches wide (6.5 cms) and the saucer is 5.25 inches (13.3 cms) in diameter and approx. 1.25 inches (3.2 cms) high.
It is a lovely piece and is excellent condition. The only flaw I have seen in a bit of wear to the the top of the handle and a tiny nibble on the edge of the saucer (please see pictures) which is not surprising as it is about 200 year old. The porcelain has a lovely feel and the bottom of the saucer is marked with painted gilt 'Swansea' in cursive. The cup is unmarked. The pattern is no xxx - I know this because my mother has a teapot stand in the same pattern and it is marked such.
Please examine the photographs closely as they form a part of the description. All shipping costs are actual costs; I will refund any difference. We live on a Scottish island and are at the mercy of the weather this time of year as our ferry may be off. I will do my best to facilitate 'rush orders'. Please email me with any questions.
