Minton Newcastle Embossed Dessert Compote Basketweave Topographical Antique Porcelain - circa first half 19th C., England. Both bowl and foot have a finely painted and gilded raised basket weave / lattice border pattern with three topographical scene reserves in cartouches. Marked on the underside with a small, hand-painted cipher, perhaps a gilder's mark. In very good condition with minor paint wear as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
