Antique French Gilt Bronze box which is adorned with mythological scenes crafted in finest relief work. The gilt Bronze figures are of finest detail and make a lovely contrast to the cobalt blue back ground. This museum quality box is tufted inside with red silk which shows some signs of wear. The box is sold together with its original key which works perfectly. The box is in perfect condition and dated at the first half oft he 19th century.
