A very handsome German Shepherd dog by the famous Rosenthal company from the 1940’s. It measures 6 inches tall by 4 inches deep and is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or crazing. Painted beautifully it has the typical shepherd pose with tongue out and nice white teeth. The artist’s name is in impressed letters M. H. Fritz and an ink stamp mark that says Classic Rose Collection Rosenthal Group Germany. Fritz worked for Rosenthal during the 1930’s - 40’s and also worked for Meissen at one time.
