We are excited to share with you this charming little Staffordshire figure pen/quill holder. This wonderful figure was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1840. The figure depicts a young lady say with her two puppies. One can be seen standing on its hind legs and the other can be seen firmly drinking from a bowl of milk. We love her costume, her blue and green dress. This is an unusual figure and one of the best of its type that we have seen!
This is the perfect item for anyone who loves Staffordshire figures, dogs or all things folk art!
Please see our collection of 18th and 19th century art and antiques listed separately in our store.
