Pearlware Masonic Jug ca. 1825 - image 1 of 8

This large pearlware jug or pitcher has lavender transfers of Masonic imagery on each side, and "Charity" under the spout. Blue enameled bands and handle decoration.

No maker's marks, probably English ca. 1825

Size: Approximately 8 ½" high

Condition: Losses to areas of lower blue band. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
