A trio of vases with a sunflower motif from Soholm Keramik of Denmark. The vases were designed by a collaboration of two of Soholm's best ceramicists. The vases' shapes were created by Holm Sørensen and the design is by Svend Aage Jensen. They date to the late 1950s. The background color of the vases is a deep amber color with the design executed in black, and white. They are marked on the bottom, Soholm, Danmark and the painters' initials. The vases are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
The taller vase measures 8 1/4 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches square on the bottom. The sides of the vase flare out to a maximum width of 2 1/4 inches, then narrows to 1 3/8 inches square at the top. It has a very pleasing shape, and also do the two smaller vases. They are both 6 inches tall, 2 inches in diameter on the bottom, which again, flares out to a maximum diameter of 2 inches Total weight: 708 grams
