From Royal Copenhagen of Denmark, a flask-shaped vase designed by Nils Thorsson for his Baca line. The vase, done in colors of brown, blue and white, features a goofy-bird design. Several of the Baca-line artists did designs featuring goofy birds. I wonder if they had a competition between themselves? This particular one is quite striking. The vase is 5 inches tall and 3 5/8 by 2½ inches on the oval bottom. It's in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. On the bottom it's marked with the Royal Copenhagen logo, the painters initials, Thorsson's logo and the production number, 708 0ver 2307. Weight: 323 grams
