1940s Roseville Zephyr Lily Candle Holders Pair 1162-2 - image 1 of 12

A distinctive pair of mid-century single candlestick holders manufactured by Roseville Pottery in their sienna brown Zephyr Lilly pattern. Features raised creaming white tropical lily blossoms on long, slender leaves. The outer walls of the holders have a textured swirl pattern.

Marked with the raised Roseville USA script mark and shape number, 1162-2”. The Zephy Lily line was introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1946

Very good condition. There is a flea bite to glaze on to rim of one holder as well as a couple of chips to one handle on the same piece. (These are shallow, darkened with age and not easily evident.) The other holder is pristine.

Measure 3-5/8" wide and sit 2-1/8" high. The candle well is 7/8".

HISTORIQUE: Roseville Pottery was in business from 1890 through 1954. The company was founded in Roseville, Ohio and was relocated to Zanesville, Ohio in 1917. The company produced high-quality art pottery that is still highly collectable today.
